Before I wrote software for a living I ran IT for a 60-person logistics company with nine branches across the US and Canada. I know what it is like when the numbers for a Monday meeting come out of four systems and one very tired person. I have an MS in Logistics and Supply Chain, a Data Science certificate from Georgetown, and Google's project management certificate. The supply chain part is not a topic I read about. It is the job I had.
Now I work as a fractional technical lead for founder-led brands. I build the data foundation: syncs from the systems you already run, a Postgres warehouse you own, dashboards the team can edit, and the automation and AI on top when the foundation is solid. The stack is Next.js, Postgres (Supabase or Neon), Drizzle, n8n, the Vercel AI SDK and Claude, with Metabase for self-serve reporting. I build with Claude Code every day, which is a large part of why a reporting layer takes weeks rather than months.
